Pay attention!
Summer is shifting into autumn right before your eyes. It’s HARVEST SEASON, meaning it’s time
to reap what you’ve sewn. That
said, I hope you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and get down to business
because playtime is coming to a close.
First, there was Mars moving from Libra into Scorpio on
8/23, thrusting you off the fence, & committing your efforts to your truest
longings.
Next, on 8/30, the lunar nodes enter the Taurus/Scorpio
axis, where they’ll be traveling for the next one & a half years. This means it’s time to choose those
pursuits that are rooted in your deepest understandings of Truth (yes, with a
capitol T). The temptation will be
to worry about money, & to take the safe route, but know that during this
transit the safe route is the low route.
The point of healing for the next year and a half will be to step more
fully into your power, & to use that power with a commitment to the core of
all truth, which ultimately can be boiled down to one, single thing:
LOVE.
Break it down.
Anything you care about ultimately stems from love. Anything you fear also ultimately stems
from love, but a love that’s caught in the hall of mirrors known as Attachment.
Hence your homework follows thusly:
What of my current involvements, relationships & skills
are rooted in my deepest love? How
can I cleanly extricate myself from anything that is not rooted in my deepest love? Where am I playing it safe, &/or
making decisions based on financial & security-based fears?
And in order to expose any lack of personal integrity:
Am I using my power from a place of love or a place of fear?
Beware - that last question throws you right into your
personal hall of mirrors that cannot be successfully navigated by the
intellect. You must access your
heart to know that truth. Please
review the exercise in my previous posting to learn one technique of accessing
your heart. I will be sharing some

Do this work now, & you’ll have an easier time with
Saturn’s two & a half years transit through Scorpio, which begins in early
October. It’s time to register for
my Saturn & His Cycles workshop in Seattle on Monday, October 1st.
This nodal shift colors our Pisces full moon a deeper
hue. Normally, we’d be using this
full moon to creatively connect with an ideally altruistic vision we want to
bring into material reality in a practical way. This particular full moon, however, is both extra yearningly
idealistic, due to the influence of both Neptune & Chiron in Pisces, &
forced into being realistic due to a tense relationship with the lunar
nodes. This puts that dreamy
Pisces mentality to the test, & forces you to confront your fears.
The low road with this configuration is a desire to throw in
the towel, to attach yourself to the idea that your big dream can’t work, that
you’ll never get what you want, etc.
Even worse, you can get caught in thinking about how everyone other than
you gets what they want. All such
thinking is a lie, designed to keep you safe from the risks & effort
involved in making dreams come true.
Nothing is so difficult as translating ideas into actuality. Nor is anything so rewarding as seeing
what was once a glimmer transformed into some tangible experience. When in doubt, remember that everything
you see, hear, taste, feel & smell was once a dream.
Here are some leading questions to help you effectively
navigate through the high road of this configuration:
How & why am I afraid of stepping into the fullness of
my power? How am I being overly
idealistic? (hint: dreams are necessarily different
than their manifested reality)
What compromises do I need to make in order to make my dreams come
true?
